Volleyball: Lancers Strong Outing Comes Up Short On Senior Day

Mount Marty had College of Saint Mary on the ropes on senior day. The Lancers had a 2-1 set lead heading into set four. Mount Marty is now 10-20 on the season and 3-12 in the GPAC. 

Set 1:

  • Mount Marty started the match with a strong effort, but College of Saint Mary (NE) managed to secure the set with a score of 25-22. Julia Weber's offensive performance, with 5 kills and 2 aces, was notable.

Set 2:

  • In the second set, Mount Marty showed resilience and determination, winning the set 25-19. Julia Weber continued to shine, contributing with 8 kills and 2 aces. Ally Whitmire's 27 assists were crucial in setting up the team's offense.

Set 3:
