Northwestern Defeats Mount Marty with a Convincing 82-47 Victory

Northwestern displayed their prowess on the court, securing an emphatic 82-47 win against Mount Marty. Mount Marty is now 5-9 overall and 1-6 in GPAC play. Northwestern 10-4 overall and 5-2 in GPAC. 

Northwestern got off to a strong start, establishing a lead in the first quarter and maintaining their momentum throughout the game. They capitalized on their scoring opportunities and maintained a consistent offensive rhythm.

Kaydin Davis led Northwestern's charge with a stellar performance, contributing a game-high 18 points. Hali Anderson also made a notable impact, adding 13 points to the scoreboard. Northwestern's well-rounded performance saw contributions from multiple players, emphasizing their depth and versatility.

Mount Marty faced difficulties against Northwestern's defensive pressure, struggling to find a consistent rhythm on offense. Sidney Thue was a bright spot for Mount Marty, leading their scoring efforts with 17 points. However, Mount Marty encountered challenges in converting their offensive possessions into successful scoring opportunities.

Northwestern's impressive shooting proficiency, recording a 41.1% field goal percentage, coupled with their solid defensive efforts, limited Mount Marty's offensive output. Mount Marty faced adversity in finding open looks, shooting 28.6% from the field and 10.5% from beyond the arc.
