The Mount Marty Lancers continued their strong start to the season with a commanding 90-33 win over Barclay College at Cimpl Arena. The Lancers dominated from the outset, setting the pace with a 26-10 lead in the first quarter and expanding it to 54-14 by halftime.
Mount Marty's offensive strength was evident, outscoring Barclay College in every quarter, including a commanding 28-4 run in the second. The Lancers showed consistent shooting with 42.1% from the field, leveraging strong ball movement and depth, as 50 of their points came from the bench. The Lancers also were efficient on the line, as they had a 69.2% free throw percentage. They also capitalized on turnovers, earning 26 points from Barclay's 25 turnovers and grabbing a substantial 55 rebounds, 21 of them offensive, allowing for numerous second-chance points.
