First Quarter: Â Both Teams came out hot with the score tied at the end of the first quarter 16-16
Second Quarter: Morningside would lead Mount Marty 39 – 33 at the end of the quarter. The Mustangs shot an impressive 63% in the quarter compared to the Lancers 30%.
Third Quarter: Â At the end of the quarter Morningside would lead the Lancers 66- 50 after scoring 27 points in the third quarter off of 11 of 17 shooting.
Fourth quarter: Â MMU would end the game scoring 18 points to Morningside's 19 points, playing a competitive quarter. The final score would be 84-69.
