Kansas City, MO – The National Association of Collegiate Athletics released the list of  2024 Daktronics NAIA Scholar athletes for Competitive cheer Thursday. One Mount Marty athlete was awarded the honor. Gabrielle Goodrich a senior from Peoria, Arizona is Majoring in recreational Management. In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution. Gabrielle has been apart of cheer for two years and is a repeat selection for the award this year. She is a dual sport athlete competing in track and field alongside her cheer career and has also had this honor given to her in that sport.
