The Lancers Shutout the Bulldogs in a 3-0 Victory

The Mount Marty Lancers delivered a solid performance today, earning a dominant 3-0 win over McPherson College. This victory puts Mount Marty at 2-3-0 for the season, while McPherson remains searching for their first win at 0-3-0.

First Half:
The opening 45 minutes saw both teams battling hard but failing to convert their chances. McPherson led in shots with 8 compared to Mount Marty's 2, yet neither side could find the back of the net. Despite a few promising opportunities, both teams went into the break scoreless.

Second Half:
Mount Marty came out firing after the interval, showcasing their offensive abilities with three goals in the second half. The scoring spree began at the 47th minute when Gabe Cox found the net unassisted, giving the Lancers the lead.

The lead was doubled in the 66th minute when Dan Tibbett scored another unassisted goal, further cementing Mount Marty's lead. As the match neared its end, Jadon Brits added a final touch with a goal in the 85th minute, also unassisted, ensuring victory for the Lancers.
