Morningside defeated Mount Marty, winning decisively 45-6. Mount Marty opened the scoring with a touchdown pass from Rugby Ryken, but Morningside quickly responded and continued to pile on points throughout the game. Morningside's quarterback Zack Chevalier threw for five touchdowns, and the defense held Mount Marty scoreless after the first quarter. Despite Mount Marty maintaining more possession, Morningside's explosive plays and efficient passing led them to a commanding victory. Mount Marty University's defense showcased solid contributions from multiple players in their recent game. Leading the charge was James Brinsley with 10 total tackles, including 7 solo stops. Jacob Lambeth recorded 7 tackles and a key tackle for loss (TFL) of 20 yards. Both Damien Baldwin and Jonathan Carlst contributed with 6 total tackles each.
