Mount Marty Women's Basketball Falls to #11 Concordia in Home Showdown

The Mount Marty University (MMU) women's basketball team was defeated by the #11 ranked Concordia University Bulldogs, 66-59, in a hard-fought GPAC contest on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.

The loss moves the Lancers' record to 6-2 overall and 2-2 in GPAC play, while the undefeated Bulldogs advance to 8-0.

Concordia jumped out to a significant lead in the first quarter, which proved to be the difference, as Mount Marty fought to keep pace the rest of the way.

  • First Quarter Deficit: Concordia started strong, outscoring MMU 23-13 in the first quarter.

  • Lancer Rally: Mount Marty played the Bulldogs even for the remaining three quarters (46-43), but the early deficit was too large to overcome. The Lancers outscored Concordia 17-8 in the final period.
