The Mount Marty University (MMU) women's basketball team was defeated by the #11 ranked Concordia University Bulldogs, 66-59, in a hard-fought GPAC contest on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.

The loss moves the Lancers' record to 6-2 overall and 2-2 in GPAC play, while the undefeated Bulldogs advance to 8-0.

Key Game Moments

Concordia jumped out to a significant lead in the first quarter, which proved to be the difference, as Mount Marty fought to keep pace the rest of the way.

• First Quarter Deficit: Concordia started strong, outscoring MMU 23-13 in the first quarter.

• Lancer Rally: Mount Marty played the Bulldogs even for the remaining three quarters (46-43), but the early deficit was too large to overcome. The Lancers outscored Concordia 17-8 in the final period.

• Bulldog Star: Concordia was led by a dominant performance from Kristin Vieselmeyer, who scored a game-high 23 points on 10-15 shooting.

Offensive and Defensive Breakdown

Mount Marty struggled with efficiency against the Bulldogs' defense but was outstanding on the boards and at the free-throw line.

• Rebounding Dominance: The Lancers crushed Concordia on the glass, holding a decisive 48-31 rebounding advantage. Alexis Folkers led all players with a double-double, grabbing a game-high 11 rebounds and adding 13 points. Lacey Sprakel also had a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds (7 offensive).
