The Lancers (4-6, 4-2 GPAC) improved their overall record and pulled ahead in conference play with a strong offensive effort and balanced scoring. Briar Cliff (6-5, 3-3 GPAC) struggled to keep pace, especially in the first half.

Mount Marty established control early, building a significant lead in the first half and heading into halftime with a 44-29 advantage. The Lancers maintained their intensity in the second half, matching the Chargers' scoring with 36 points apiece to seal the 15-point victory.
The Lancers' offense was highly efficient, shooting 53.7% from the field (29-54) and an impressive 41.2% from beyond the arc (7-17). Their free-throw shooting was also solid at 71.4% (15-21). Briar Cliff shot 50.0% from the field but struggled from the free-throw line, converting only 65.0% (13-20) of their attempts.
