Mount Marty finished up their spring break trip going 1-1 on the day and 3-3 overall on the trip. The Lancers beat two divison two teams on the trip. Read below on the games that took place on March 4th.
Game One
Mount Marty Falls Short in Comeback Attempt Against Jamestown

Game Recap:
Mount Marty couldn't overcome an early deficit, falling 11-8 to Jamestown despite a strong late-inning push. The Lancers found themselves in a deep hole early, as Jamestown capitalized on defensive miscues and timely hitting to take an 8-0 lead by the third inning.
The Mount Marty offense started to show life in the third, cutting into the lead with a two-run single from Joe Gokie. However, Jamestown continued to add insurance runs, stretching their lead to 11-2 by the sixth inning.
The Lancers refused to go down quietly. In the bottom of the sixth, a five-run rally ignited the home crowd, fueled by clutch hits from Tyler Vance, Jackson Noem, and Ryan Bachman. Vance added another RBI in the seventh on a sacrifice fly, bringing Mount Marty within three runs at 11-8.
Despite the momentum shift, Jamestown's bullpen held strong, shutting down the Lancers in the final two innings to secure the win.

Game Recap:
Mount Marty jumped out to an early lead and weathered a late surge from Concordia-St. Paul to secure a 9-7 victory. The Lancers exploded for three runs in the first inning and added four more in the third, building a commanding 7-0 leadbehind clutch hitting and a dominant start from Jacob Walker on the mound.
Cooper Mlnarik set the tone early, driving in two runs with a double down the right-field line in the first. Jalen Owensdelivered the big blow in the third, tripling to center field to bring home two more runs, capping off a four-run inning for the Lancers.
Walker was nearly untouchable through six innings, scattering five hits while striking out eight batters. However, Concordia-St. Paul found life in the seventh inning, erupting for seven runs on six hits to tie the game at 7-7. Jay Neugebauer and Zach Leuschen struggled out of the bullpen before Leuschen escaped further damage to keep the game tied.
Mount Marty wasted no time reclaiming the lead in the eighth. Ryan Bachman delivered an RBI single to score Cannon Marshall, followed by a clutch RBI single from Daniel Vonnegut, putting the Lancers back on top 9-7.
With the game on the line, Liam Bates slammed the door with two scoreless innings, securing his first save of the seasonand sealing the win for Mount Marty.
