Lancers Battle to 1-1 Draw with Dordt
YANKTON, S.D. – The Mount Marty men's soccer team earned a hard-fought 1-1 draw with Dordt on Saturday evening at Crane Youngworth Field. The result moves the Lancers to 2-2-2 on the season (0-1-2 GPAC), while Dordt sits at 2-4-3 (0-2-1 GPAC).
Dordt struck first in the 32nd minute when Nekild Agalliu converted unassisted to put the Defenders up 1-0. The Lancers responded in the second half as Andreas Socratous netted the equalizer in the 57th minute off an assist from Arthur Rodriguez.
Mount Marty generated more pressure in the second half, outshooting Dordt 7-7 overall in that frame, but neither side could find a match-winner.

The Lancers recorded nine shots with four on target, while Dordt totaled 13 shots with seven on frame.
Mount Marty will continue GPAC play on Wednesday, October 1st, when they travel to face Concordia in Seward at 5:30 PM.
