Lancers' Season Ends in Quarterfinals Against Top-Seeded Dordt
SIOUX CENTER, IA – The Mount Marty women's basketball team saw their postseason run come to a halt on Wednesday night, falling 91-63 to the #1-ranked Dordt Defenders in the GPAC Quarterfinals.
Despite a gritty effort from the Lancers, the Defenders' high-powered offense proved why they are the top seed in the tournament. Dordt jumped out to a 30-17 lead in the first quarter and never looked back, fueled by a 50.7% shooting performance from the field and a lethal 12-of-28 mark from beyond the arc.
