The Mount Marty Lancers displayed a resilient spirit in their home doubleheader against the College of Saint Mary, shaking off a high-scoring loss in the opener to dominate the nightcap with a 16-hit offensive explosion.
Game 1: College of Saint Mary 8, Mount Marty 6
The Lancers nearly pulled off a massive comeback after falling behind 6-0 in the second inning. Despite out-hitting the Flames 12-11, the early deficit proved just too large to fully overcome.

Sara Ocegueda-Aguilar: Was a force at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a double.

Lily Bolin: Had a perfect day at the dish, going 2-for-2 with a walk and scoring three of the Lancers' six runs.

Game 2: Mount Marty 9, College of Saint Mary 2
The Lancers left no doubt in the second game, racking up 16 hits and pulling away late to secure the split in convincing fashion.

Kayleen Jacinto: Was unstoppable, going a perfect 4-for-4. Her performance was highlighted by a two-run home run in the 3rd inning that gave Mount Marty a lead they would never relinquish. She finished the game with 3 RBIs.
