In a high-powered GPAC showdown, Mount Marty went toe-to-toe with Morningside University. While the Mustangs took both games of the doubleheader, the Lancers showed incredible heart, nearly pulling off a massive nine-run comeback in the series finale.
Game 1: Morningside 16, Mount Marty 4
Morningside's offense proved why they are at the top of the conference, using five home runs to pull away early in the seven-inning opener.

Lancer Power: Ethan Synovec provided a spark for Mount Marty, launching a two-run home run to center field in the 6th inning.

Mid-Game Rally: The Lancers put up a four-run 6th inning. Along with Synovec's blast, Cooper Mlnarik drove in a run with a sacrifice fly, and Daniel Vonnegut crossed the plate on a wild pitch.

Solid Relief: Mitchell Hamrock stepped into a difficult situation and provided 4.0 innings of work, striking out three Mustangs.

On the Bases: Jalen Owens remained active on the basepaths, recording a hit and a stolen base.
Game 2: Morningside 11, Mount Marty 10
In one of the most thrilling games of the season, the Lancers entered the bottom of the 9th inning trailing 11-4 and proceeded to score six runs, coming just inches away from a legendary walk-off.
