he Mount Marty University men's golf team made history at the 2026 GPAC Men's Golf Championship, securing a 7th-place finish—the highest ranking in the program's history. Competing at the Dakota Dunes Country Club on April 20–21, the Lancers battled through 54 holes to achieve this milestone.

Wout Kerkhofs led the Lancers, finishing in a tie for 21st place with a total score of +16. He remained steady throughout the tournament, posting rounds of 77 (+5), 78 (+6), and 77 (+5).

Hunter Bailey finished in a tie for 25th place at +18 overall. After an opening-round 83 (+11), he found his rhythm to card a 78 (+6) in the second round and finished strong with the team's lowest final-round score of 73 (+1).
