Michael Anderson was named Interim Head Coach of the Mount Marty University Archery team in September of 2024. Anderson currently holds the position of Associate Executive Director for the National Field Archery Association. Michael has been involved in competitive archery and bowhunting since the age of 13, and has been an NFAA member since then. He has attended many competitive archery events throughout his career, such as the Vegas shoot, NFAA Indoor and Outdoor Field Nationals, the Redding Trail Shoot/NFAA Marked 3D.
Michael is also an avid bowhunter, and has pursued whitetails and turkeys in his home state of Iowa. He also has pursued pronghorn antelope and elk out west. He also enjoys fishing, boating, firearms and reloading, and spending time with his 2 German Shorthair pointers.Â
