Under his direction, Mount Marty’s offense emerged as one of the most dynamic in the conference, hitting .321 as a team with 56 home runs and 381 runs scored in just 51 games. The Lancers also led the GPAC in stolen bases (114) setting a new school record led by Jalen Owens, who broke a 29-year-old single-season stolen base record with 41 steals. Owens earned First Team All-Conference and Gold Glove honors, while Aidan Chang also claimed First Team All-Conference recognition. Daniel Vonnegut earned Second Team All-Conference, and four others Will Gardner, Shugo Kondo, Ryan Bachman, and Joe Gokie received Honorable Mention accolades, highlighting the team’s balanced and deep offensive production under Tetrault’s leadership.
Before joining Mount Marty, Tetrault spent two seasons at Iowa Western Community College, one of the nation’s elite junior college baseball programs. His offensive units were among the best in the country. In his first season, Iowa Western hit .331 as a team with a .444 on-base percentage and .543 slugging percentage, averaging nearly nine runs per game. That season produced three All-American hitters Brayden Smith, Brandon Rogers, and Tyler Stone with Smith being named the ICCAC Most Valuable Player.
In his second season, Tetrault helped guide the Reivers to a 54–10 record and a trip to the JUCO World Series in Grand Junction, Colorado. The Reivers broke multiple school records, including walks, hit by pitch, and stolen bases, and produced two more All-Americans, Kyle Hvidsten and AJ Singer, with Hvidsten earning ICCAC MVP honors.
In the summer of 2025, Tetrault joined the Mankato MoonDogs of the Northwoods League, serving as an assistant coach working with hitters and outfielders while sharing third base coaching responsibilities. The MoonDogs captured the Great Plains 2nd Half Championship, defeated the St. Cloud Rox in the postseason, and advanced to the Northwoods League Semifinals. He has also coached with the Bismarck Larks in the Northwoods League, the Orange County Riptide of the California Collegiate League, and Servite High School in Anaheim, California.
A native of Fullerton, California, Tetrault’s foundation as a coach was shaped during his playing career at the University of Arizona, where he served as a bullpen catcher from 2018 to 2021under head coach Jay Johnson (now the head coach at LSU) and pitching coach Nate Yeskie. During his time with the Wildcats, he worked closely with some of college baseball’s top coaching minds, contributing to Arizona’s 2021 Pac-12 Championship and College World Seriesappearance. That experience instilled in Tetrault a deep understanding of player development, team culture, and the details that define championship-level programs.
