Sam Tetrault
Assistant Baseball Coach – 2nd Season
Mount Marty University

Sam Tetrault as he enters his second season as an assistant baseball coach. Bringing a wealth of experience in player development and tactical expertise, Tetrault is poised to make an immediate impact on the Lancers’ baseball program.

Before joining Mount Marty, Tetrault coached at Iowa Western Community College, one of the nation’s premier junior college baseball programs. There, he primarily worked with outfielders and hitters, helping lead the 2023 outfield group to include an All-American, an All-Region honoree, and four Division I commitments. In 2024, Iowa Western captured 54 wins, held the #1 national ranking in NJCAA Division I for part of the season, and advanced to the Junior College World Series in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Tetrault also currently serves as an assistant coach for the Bismarck Larks in the Northwoods League, a top summer collegiate baseball league in the United States.

A native of Fullerton, California, Tetrault attended Troy High School, where he excelled in both baseball and football. He continued his baseball journey at the University of Arizona, serving as a bullpen catcher from 2018 to 2021. Working closely with head coach Jay Johnson and pitching coach Nate Yeskie—both now at LSU—Tetrault was part of a Wildcats team that won a Pac-12 Championship and competed in the 2021 College World Series. He graduated from Arizona in 2021 with a degree in Accounting, earning Dean’s List honors.

After graduation, Tetrault gained additional coaching experience with the Orange County Riptide in the California Collegiate League and spent a season on the staff at Servite High School before joining Iowa Western.

With his blend of high-level playing experience, coaching pedigree, and dedication to player growth, Sam Tetrault brings strong leadership to the Mount Marty baseball program.
