Dance Coach – 2nd Season
Mount Marty University
Mount Marty University is excited to welcome Rylee Schneider into her second season as the Lancers’ Dance Coach. With a rich background in dance and cheerleading, Rylee brings a blend of competitive experience, leadership, and passion to the program.
Rylee danced competitively in various styles from 2005 to 2017 at studios in Lincoln, Nebraska. She also cheered for the University of Nebraska at Kearney and the University of South Dakota COED Cheer Team. Currently, she is finishing her degree in Communications and Nonprofit Studies at the University of South Dakota, expecting to graduate in December 2024.
Her professional roles include serving as the USD Mascot Coordinator since 2022, where she organizes events, manages social media, and recruits new spirit team members. Additionally, Rylee contributed as a Central Region Staffer for the National Cheerleaders Association from 2021 to 2023, developing camp curriculums and supporting teams across the region.
“I am so excited to be the next dance coach at Mount Marty University,” said Schneider. “With my diverse experience across spirit teams, I look forward to recruiting and building a competitive and spirited dance team for game-day and competitions.”
Rylee’s dedication to excellence and enthusiasm for dance and cheer make her an invaluable asset as she helps grow the Mount Marty dance program and energize the Lancer community.
