Matt Dickman enters his first season with Mount Marty University after spending one year with the Sioux Falls Skyforce, the NBA G-League affiliate of the Miami Heat. Before the COVID-19 pandemic brought the 2020 season to an abrupt end, the Skyforce won 9 of their final 12 games making them one of the hottest teams in the league going into the season’s final weeks.
Prior to his stint at the professional ranks Dickman spent five seasons as a college assistant and three years at the high school level:

2017 - 2018 Indiana University East (NAIA) *34-3 National Semifinalist*
2015 - 2017 Central Methodist University (NAIA)
2014 -2015 Brown Mackie (NJCAA)
In 2018, Dickman was on staff at Indiana University East where they posted a 34-3 record and entered the NAIA National Tournament as the number one overall seed. After winning their first three games at the national tournament they fell in the semifinal game earning a final ranking of #3 in NAIA DII.
In 2015, he began a two year stint at Central Methodist University where the team was ranked in the top 25 each of the two seasons he was on staff. At Central Methodist, he was responsible for fielding and coaching two JV teams while having full-time responsibility with the varsity team. Before that, he spent one season at Brown Mackie College where they were ranked top 10 nationally during the season.
Matt’s most recent collegiate experience came at Buena Vista University where he worked with Coach Lorensen.
