A decorated and experienced guard from Emery, South Dakota, Sawyer Schultz joins Mount Marty after a highly successful career at GPAC rival Dakota Wesleyan University. The former South Dakota Class "B" Player of the Year and state champion proved to be a consistent backcourt threat for the Tigers, averaging 9.7 points per game as a sophomore and 9.1 points and 2.7 assists as a junior while shooting 38.6% from beyond the arc. He brings elite local pedigree, steady playmaking, and proven conference experience to the Lancers.
