Mount Marty University

Oliver Tieleman was named Head Men’s Soccer Coach in the Spring of 2022.
In his third season in charge, Tieleman led the Lancers to a record of 7-6-3 in the regular season, breaking the school record for most wins and best overall record it was the first time the program has had a winning record. The Lancers also scored 41 goals which was another program record. Stat wise, the Lancers had a .610 shot-on-goal percentage which was 8th in the country and 28th in the nation with a .193 shot percentage.
  
Tieleman has been with the Lancer program since 2019, starting as a Graduate Assistant, moving to Assistant Coach and finally as the Head Coach. He was a part of the historic season in 2019 where the Lancers made the playoffs for the first time in school history.
Tieleman has been coaching soccer for 9 years and before coming to Mount Marty University in 2019, he was coaching at Saint Albans Shirley Football Club as the head coach of the club's men's reserve team and an assistant to the senior men's first team who played in the Canterbury Championship League.
  
He graduated from the University of Canterbury in 2018 with a Bachelor of Sports Coaching majoring in Performance Analysis and graduated with his Masters of Education in Coaching and Leadership from Mount Marty University in 2021.
