Mount Marty University

Seth Wiebelhaus is in his third season as an assistant track and field coach at Mount Marty University. A decorated former athlete for the Lancers, Wiebelhaus brings elite competitive experience and proven coaching success to the program, specializing in sprints, hurdles, and multi-events.

During his standout collegiate career, Wiebelhaus earned four consecutive indoor All-American honors in the Heptathlon (2020-2023) — the only athlete in school history to achieve this feat — as well as two outdoor All-American honors in the Decathlon (2022, 2023). He holds Mount Marty’s school records in the 110-meter hurdles (14.40 seconds) and Decathlon (6,678 points).

In 2022, Wiebelhaus was named the GPAC Athlete MVP after scoring 22 points at the Outdoor Conference Championships, placing first in the Decathlon, second in the 110-meter hurdles, and fifth in the Pole Vault. He was also honored as Mount Marty’s Male Athlete of the Year in 2022 and earned All-Academic recognition from 2021 through 2023.

Wiebelhaus was named Assistant Track and Field Coach in the Fall of 2023, coaching the sprints, hurdles, and multi events. Since then he has coached 2 National Champions (Indoor Heptathlon and 200m), 7 All Americans, 29 National Qualifiers, 17 School Records, and 82 All Conference.

With his rich background as both an elite competitor and developing coach, Seth Wiebelhaus continues to elevate Mount Marty’s track and field program to new heights.
