Kevin Stillson – Assistant Softball Coach (1st Year)
Mount Marty University welcomed Kevin Stillson to the Lancer softball staff in 2025 as an assistant coach. Bringing over a decade of coaching experience across the collegiate, travel, and high school levels, Stillson has built a strong reputation for his leadership, player development, and recruiting expertise.
Before joining the Lancers, Stillson served as an assistant coach at Mid Michigan College (2021–2025), where he worked extensively with outfielders and first basemen, contributed to game strategies, and played a key role in recruiting and fundraising. He also helped coordinate clinics and camps, coached at Florida spring training tournaments, and implemented innovative skill development workouts in hitting, bunting, and base running.
Stillson also coached with the Krash Travel Team in Lansing, Michigan (2017–2020), where he specialized in infield and outfield development, offensive strategy, and advancing players to the collegiate level. Earlier in his career, he led the Croswell-Lexington High School varsity and junior varsity programs (2014–2017), focusing on building fundamentals and instilling competitive drive in his athletes.
Throughout his career, Stillson has been recognized for his commitment to preparing athletes for the next level, with several of his players going on to compete in college. His coaching philosophy centers on teaching leadership, developing well-rounded student-athletes, and helping players achieve success on and off the field.
