Mount Marty University

Shelby Davis is in her first season as a graduate assistant for Mount Marty. The Rapid City, South Dakota native comes to Yankton after graduating from Black Hills State University in Spearfish, South Dakota. While at Black Hills State, she earned her bachelors degree in education.

Coach Davis played collegicate softball at Iowa Lakes Community College in Esterville, Iowa and Cincinnati Christian University in Cincinnati, Ohio. During her collegicate career, her primary positions were infield and catching. 

Davis has coached many of travel ball and high school teams throughout her coaching career. Most recently she was on the coaching staff for Central High School and travelbal  team 605 in Rapid City. Recently, her travel team 605 finish 3rd in the 2022 South Dakota USA Girls State Fastpitch Tournament.
