Albertos' coaching resume includes coaching summer volleyball camps, clinics, and several club teams. Future Head Coach Belen Albertos had this to say about the upcoming opportunity, "I am grateful for this opportunity. I enjoyed my two years as a Graduate Assistant at Mount Marty. It gave me the opportunity to grow both as a coach and as a person. I am appreciative of University President Marcus Long and Athletic Director Chris Kassin for believing in me as a coach and person to lead this program at such a great institution. I am really excited and grateful for the opportunity to keep working with this team. We have great athletes, but more importantly we have better people on this team. I want to keep building an inviting team culture, teach good values, and continue working on becoming a competitive team.

Former Lancer Coach Frank Hebenstreit is happy to see the promotion of Albertos to head coach status,  "I am so excited to see Belen Albertos get this opportunity. I have thought very highly of her since she has been here, first as a Graduate Assistant, and then as our Assistant Coach. She is a smart and talented young coach. What I value the most is she truly cares about our players and their development. She models servant leadership, Mount Marty has made a great choice!"

Athletic Director Chris Kassin is also pleased with the upcoming promotion of Coach Albertos, "We could not be more excited to make this announcement. It has been a pleasure to watch Coach Albertos over the last three years and we know she will continue building the volleyball program at Mount Marty University. Coach Albertos possesses all the qualities of a successful head coach. She is driven, motivated and is committed to the mission of this institution."
