A native of Grandview, Caballero continued her athletic and academic career at Columbia Basin College, where she earned Magna Cum Laude honors while receiving All-NWAC Conference and All-Academic recognition twice during her career.
Caballero later transferred to Notre Dame de Namur University, where she earned her degree in Kinesiology and excelled as a two-year starter for the Argonauts. During the 2016–17 season, she was named PacWest Conference Newcomer of the Year and helped lead the program to its first conference tournament appearance. She concluded her collegiate career with 1,796 career points, leaving a lasting impact on the program.
Caballero began her coaching career at Mount Marty University as a graduate assistant while earning her Master’s degree in Education and Coaching Leadership. Since transitioning into a full-time coaching role, she has played a key role in recruiting, player development, and the success of numerous All-GPAC student-athletes.
“I’m incredibly grateful to be part of a university and program that prioritizes both athletic and academic excellence,” Caballero said. “I’m passionate about helping our student-athletes grow into confident, competitive, and well-rounded young women both on and off the court. Building meaningful coach-player relationships is at the heart of what I do, and I believe those relationships create the foundation for long-term success.”
Caballero’s leadership, basketball knowledge, and commitment to the holistic development of her players continue to help move the Lancer program forward within the GPAC.
