Mitchell, SD -- The Lancers traveled up to Mitchell, SD, to take on Dakota Wesleyan in the Corn Palace. Mount Marty fell in this GPAC contest with a final score of 73-41. Mount Marty now has an overall record of 5-14 and a 2-11 record in conference play.
Eve Millar led the team, putting up 10 points, grabbing six rebounds, getting three assists, and one steal. Millar was 4-for-7 in field goal attempts and shot 100% from the free throw line.
Freshman,
Sidney Thue, followed by putting up eight points of her own. Thue also had three steals, two rebounds, one assist, and one block against the Tigers. Sidney went 4-for-6 at the free throw line.
The Lancers put up 26 points in the paint and were able to score 10 points on Tiger turnovers. The bench came in and scored 15 points, with
Alana Bergland leading with six.
Mount Marty will play again this Wednesday in Fremont, Neb. The Lancers will facing Midland University and are look to complete the season sweep over the Warriors.
