Sioux City, IA – On Saturday afternoon, Mount Marty traveled to Sioux City, Iowa to take on #12 Morningside University. The Lancers fell to the Mustangs with a final score of 87-54. The Women's team is now 3-8 overall and 1-5 in GPAC play.

Kaela Martinez (FR/Sioux Falls, SD) put up 18 points for a career-high. Her previous high was 14 points against Briar Cliff University. Martinez also had two rebounds in the game. 

Eve Millar (SR/Redfield, SD) led the team in rebounds, grabbing nine in the game, with eight being defensive. Macy Kempf (SO/Mitchell, SD) and Emma Jarovski (SO/Brandon, SD) both followed with five rebounds apiece. 

Aubrey Twedt (SR/Beresford, SD), Kaela Martinez, Macy Kempf, and Abbie Jennings (JR/Wellington Point, Australia ) shot 100% from the free-throw line against the Mustangs. 

Mount Marty plays again on December 7th, with the team traveling to Seward, NE. The team will face Concordia University at 6:00 PM for their seventh GPAC game this season.
