MOUNT MARTY FALLS TO JAMESTOWN

Mount Marty hosted the University of Jamestown for GPAC action on Saturday afternoon. The Jimmies defeated the Lancers 81-50. Mount Marty is now 3-10 overall and 1-7 in GPAC. Jamestown improves to 9-2 overall and 6-1 in GPAC. 

Inside the Game

Mount Marty had 24 points in the paint, 6 points off turnovers, 6 second chance points, 2 fast break points, and 16 bench points. In the first quarter the Lancers were able to hit a few threes to keep the game within 3 points after quarter one. In the second quarter Jamestown was able to extend thier lead into halftime. Mount Marty was 19-55 from the field shooting 34.5% from the field. The Lancers were 2-10 from three point land. Macy Kempf(SO/Mitchell, SD) led all Lancers with 10 points shooting 4-6 from the field. She added four rebounds in the game. Eve Millar (SR/Redfield, SD) had nine points and a game high 7 rebounds. Kaela Martinez (FR/Sioux Falls, SD) had 8 points. Emma Jarovski (SO/Brandon, SD) and Kiara Berndt (SR/Harrisburg, SD) had seven points each. Sidney Thue (FR/Brandon, SD) added 5, while Maria Parsley (FR/Flandreau, SD) and Alana Bergland (JR/Beresford, SD) had two points a peice.

Mount Marty will host #15 Dordt University on December 15th. The women's game will begin at 6:00 PM CT.
