Yankton, SD – Mount Marty hosted the Concordia Bulldogs to start off the 2023 year. The Lancers fell to the Bulldogs in this GPAC contest with an 85-62 score. MMU now moves to a 4-12 record overall, and a 1-9 record in GPAC play.

Three separate Lancers put up double-digits in this game, with Sidney Thue leading with 15 points. Thue, the freshman from Brandon, SD, went 6-for-9 in field goal attempts and 3-for-3 at the free throw line. 

Both Kaela Martinez and Maria Parsley put up 12 points in the game. Parsley was one away from getting a double-double by grabbing nine rebounds to lead the Lancers. She also had three assists and one steal in the game. 

Mount Marty grabbed more rebounds than the Bulldogs, grabbing 40 boards to CUNE's 34 rebounds. The Lancers shot 76.9% from the FT line, going 10-for-13. 

The Lancers play again this Saturday down in Omaha, NE. This GPAC contest is against College of Saint Mary and begins at 2:00.
