Mount Marty was once again on the road for a GPAC series with Morningside. The Lancers went 1-3 in the series against the Mustangs. Mount Marty is now 25-8 overall and 8-4 in GPAC play. Morningside is now 21-8 overall and 7-3 in GPAC play.Â
Game OneÂ
2023 Mount Marty Varsity fell 9-6 to Morningside University on Saturday despite out-hitting them 11 to ten.
2023 Mount Marty Varsity collected 11 hits and Morningside University had ten in the high-scoring affair.
Morningside University opened up scoring in the first inning, when #6 hit a solo homer.
