In a recent soccer matchup on September 27, 2023, Mount Marty faced off against Northwestern. The final score favored Northwestern, with a score of 2-0. Mount Marty is now 1-7 overall and 0-5 in the GPAC. 

Northwestern took an early lead when Taylor Brennan found the back of the net at 7:32 into the first half, assisted by Annika Quamen. This gave Northwestern a 1-0 lead, putting Mount Marty on the defensive.

Despite Mount Marty's efforts, they were unable to break through Northwestern's defense and create clear scoring opportunities. Northwestern's defense held strong, denying Mount Marty from equalizing.
