The Mount Marty Lancers (2-4) struggled this past Wednesday against the Morningside Mustangs (9-3) in non-conference play with a final score of 7-0.

Mount Marty's closest matchup in doubles consisted of Emily Clotfelter and Macy McDonald, but they ultimately fell short with a final score of 6-2. The Mustangs were able to seal a doubles point due to a forfeit by the Lancers.

In singles play, Euginio Ramos was a standout athlete for the Lancers, but ended up falling in closely contested matchups to Hellerforth of Morningside with scores of 6-4 and 6-1. Morningside collected another pair of wins from two Mount Marty forfeits. 

The Lancers will be back in action on Saturday, March 23rd, as they take on Nebraska Wesleyan University at 1PM in Lincoln, NE. Mount Marty will begin conference play next Tuesday, March 26th, against the College of Saint Mary Flames in Omaha, NE.
