Mount Marty Men's Tennis traveled to Crete, Nebraska over the weekend to take on the Doane Tigers in Great Plains Athletic Conference tennis. The Lancers fought till the end but would narrowly fall 4-3 in the contest. Mount Marty is now 6-3 on the season and 2-1 in GPAC play.

Individual results
Esteban Guitierrez of Doane defeated Oleksander Makarov 7-6 and 6-1 in straight sets.
Jose Purizaca of Doane would battle
Jose Andrade in a three-set match winning 6-4 before Andrade stole set two in a 6-7 battle. The final set would be won 6-2 Â by Purizaca.
Federico Infante, also of the Tigers bested Pablo Rivest 6-2 and 6-1 in straight sets.
In the back half of singles matches, The Lancers would mount a come back as Luis Lainer defeated Diego Infante 6-4 in straight sets.
Medina Gonzalo would battle in three sets losing the first set to Andre Hartman of Doane 4-6, before winning the next two sets easily with a 6-4 victory in set two and 6-1 victory in set three.
Ignacio Gomez dominated the last individual game over Elliot Dassel winning in straight sets 6-3 and 6-1.
Doubles results
In the End while the Lancers went 3 and 3 in the individual portion of the competition, Doane would prove supreme in the doubles with a sweep over the Lancers to win 4-3 overall.
Federico Infante and Diego Infante defeated
Jose Andrade and Luis Lainer 7-6 in a close set one before dominating in set two 6-1.
Esteban Guitierrez and Jose Purizaca would run out as winners over Oleksandr Makarov and Pablo Rivest 6-2.
In the last double-match Andre Hartman and Elliot Dassell would win over Ignacio Medina and Marces Medina 6-2.
