Jamestown (N.D.) Secures 2-0 Victory Over Mount Marty
In a low-scoring affair, Jamestown (N.D.) emerged victorious with a 2-0 win over Mount Marty.
Jamestown got on the board early in the first inning when Hayden Brown hit a sacrifice fly to center field, allowing Chase Burke to score, giving them a 1-0 lead.
The game remained tight until the fifth inning when Julian Sansores smashed a solo home run, extending Jamestown's lead to 2-0.
Mount Marty struggled to generate offense throughout the game, managing only five hits and failing to score against Jamestown's pitching duo.

Mount Marty Shuts Out Jamestown (N.D.) with a Dominant 9-0 Victory
Mount Marty delivered a commanding performance, securing a 9-0 shutout victory over Jamestown (N.D.).
The scoring onslaught began in the second inning when Mount Marty's offense exploded for seven runs. Evan Bock started the scoring with an RBI single, driving in Kiko Nunez. Aidan Chang followed with a bases-loaded walk, bringing home Ryan Bachman. Bodi Wallar then delivered a big blow with a three-run double, extending Mount Marty's lead to 5-0. Shugo Kondo capped off the inning with a two-run homer, pushing the lead to 7-0.
In the sixth inning, Aidan Chang added more insurance runs for Mount Marty with a two-run homer, making it 9-0.
Pitcher Noah McCandless was outstanding on the mound for Mount Marty, tossing a complete game shutout. He allowed just five hits while striking out seven batters.
On the Jamestown side, pitcher Jack Howard struggled, surrendering seven runs in just two innings of work, taking the loss.
With this victory, Mount Marty improved to 20-16 on the season, while Jamestown fell to 22-11.
