Lancers Blank Midland, Set School Record for Wins
YANKTON, S.D. — The Mount Marty women's soccer team continued its historic season Wednesday night, defeating Midland 3–0 at Crane-Youngworth Field. With the victory, the Lancers improved to 5-3 overall and 2-0 in GPAC play, setting a new program record for single-season wins.
The Lancers wasted no time getting on the board as Shakira Nolasco scored in the 2nd minute off an assist from Rhyli Grim. Just before halftime, Eleanor Haslam extended the lead to 2–0, finishing a setup from Kendra McKinney and Grim.
In the second half, Marissa Moyle capped the scoring in the 75th minute with an unassisted strike, securing the decisive 3–0 margin.
The defensive effort was equally strong, led by goalkeeper Brooklyn McNac, who recorded 8 saves to earn the clean sheet.

Mount Marty held a 17–12 edge in shots, with 12 on target, and kept Midland without a corner kick all match.
The Lancers will look to continue their winning momentum on Saturday, Sept. 27, when they host Dordt for a 7:30 p.m. GPAC showdown.
