Mount Marty Falls to Dordt in GPAC Play
YANKTON, S.D. – The Mount Marty women's soccer team dropped a 6-0 decision to Dordt on Saturday evening at Crane Youngworth Field. The Defenders struck early with four first-half goals and added two more after halftime to secure the win.
The Lancers generated 12 shots in the match, led by Shakira Nolasco and Liz Stordahl with three apiece. Avery Kimball, Kari Pate, and Kamil Bennett also created chances on goal. In net, Brooklyn McNac recorded one save while facing seven shots on target.
Mount Marty now sits at 5-4 overall and 2-1 in GPAC play. The Lancers will look to bounce back when they travel to Seward, NE on Wednesday October 1st for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff.
