Lancers Volleyball Falls in Four Sets at Morningside

Mount Marty volleyball opened GPAC play on the road Wednesday night but came up short against Morningside, dropping a 3–1 decision (20–25, 21–25, 25–22, 12–25). The Lancers now sit at 6–3 overall, 0–1 GPAC as they prepare to return home on Saturday.
Match Summary
Morningside set the tone early, taking the first two sets behind efficient hitting (.306 in Set 1, .174 in Set 2). Mount Marty fought back in the third, using a balanced attack and timely defense to edge the Mustangs 25–22. However, Morningside responded with a dominant fourth set, hitting .270 to secure the match.
