Mount Marty Unveils Upgraded Weight Room Led by Rozy Performance

YANKTON, S.D. — Mount Marty University Athletics is proud to announce major upgrades to its strength and conditioning facility in the First Dakota Ruth Donohoe Fieldhouse, paired with the leadership of Mark Roozen ("Coach Rozy") and Rozy Performance - Powered by Avera.

Spanning 7,500 square feet with 38 power rack stations, Mount Marty's upgraded facility rivals premier Division I and II strength spaces nationwide. The facility equipment layout is set up for versatility and efficiency, easily accommodating roster-wide training across all Lancer sports. Creative programming paired with the room's expansive footprint allows multiple teams and student-athletes to train at full capacity simultaneously without overcrowding or operational bottlenecks.

Outfitted with top-of-the-line equipment, the facility delivers a world-class training environment built specifically for student-athlete development, injury prevention, and top-level preparation.

"Bringing this vision to life required an incredible amount of dedication and teamwork," said Assistant Athletic Director Jason Nelson. "From initial planning to final execution, our goal was to build a space that maximizes efficiency and elevates the everyday experience for our student-athletes. It's rewarding to see the project come together and immediately make an impact."

"Our upgraded weight room stands as a premier strength and conditioning center, delivering a world-class environment designed for roster-wide athletic development," said Athletic Director Andy Bernatow. "In partnership with Coach Rozy and his team, we are truly proud to provide our student-athletes with elite-level resources, coaching, and programming that elevate their everyday experience."
