Cheer Places 6th At Northwestern Invite

The Mount Marty Cheer team continued their busy February stretch at the Northwestern Cheer & Dance Invite, showing consistent scoring across a grueling two-day competition format.

Northwestern Invite Performance

Competing against a deep field of nine teams on Saturday, the Lancers secured a top-five finish in the single-day standings, maintaining their position as a competitive force in the region.

Saturday Official Results

Mount Marty posted a solid score of 75.55 on Saturday, placing them 5th overall for the day. They notably outperformed conference rivals Concordia and Hastings by significant margins.

When factoring in the two-day averages used for official awards, the Lancers' consistency shone through. Their average score of 76.41 secured them 6th place overall in a field that included Midland (who did not compete in the Saturday-only session).
