LANCERS REMAIN PERFECT IN GPAC PLAY WITH 5–0 BLOWOUT OF WALDORF
FOREST CITY, IOWA — The Mount Marty University women's soccer team put on a clinical performance in Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) action on Saturday, soaring past Waldorf University 5–0 to improve to 4–0–3 overall and 2–0–0 in conference play.
The Lancers dominated every facet of the pitch, combining a high-powered 24-shot attack with a relentless playmaking setup to record their fifth clean sheet of the season.

27' (MMU 1, WAL 0) — Mount Marty opened the scoring midway through the first period when Julianne Donnelly set up forward Addison Altwies, who buried her second goal of the season in the 27th minute.

37' (MMU 2, WAL 0) — Midfielder Luz Rojas-Martinez doubled the lead ten minutes later, beating the keeper on an unassisted strike—her second goal of the year—to send the Lancers into halftime up 2–0.

62' (MMU 3, WAL 0) — Mount Marty kept the momentum rolling out of the break. Donnelly picked up her second assist of the match, connecting with fullback Baylee Beck for her first goal of the season in the 62nd minute.

65' (MMU 4, WAL 0) — The attack kept pressing as Rojas-Martinez found midfielder Rhyli Grim, who netted her team-leading third goal of the campaign just three minutes later.

77' (MMU 5, WAL 0) — Avery Hoskins capped off the five-goal surge in the 77th minute, finishing off a feed from Kara Michaelis to notch her third strike of the season and seal the 5–0 blowout.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE Mount Marty held total control from start to finish, outshooting Waldorf 24–4 overall and putting 16 shots on frame compared to just two for the Warriors. The Lancers also controlled set-piece opportunities, holding a commanding 9–0 advantage in corner kicks.
In net, Miranda Hood started and picked up two saves across 75 scoreless minutes before McKenzie Terp handled the final 15 minutes to lock down the shared shutout. Waldorf goalkeeper Sofia Pazianas turned away 11 shots under constant pressure throughout the day.
