The Tigers set the tone early in Set 1 and neutralized Mount Marty's outside attack to stay in control throughout the evening, dropping the Lancers to 6-5 (0-1 GPAC) on the season.

• Lone Attack Hero: Caitlin Guenther was an absolute force in the middle, accounting for nearly half of Mount Marty's total points. She hammered down a match-high 17 kills on an incredible .583 hitting percentage (17K-3E-24TA), while adding 5 block assists and an ace for 20.5 total points.

• Net Presence: The Lancers held their ground at the net with 10 team blocks. Beyond Guenther's 5 blocks, Grace Nesdahl (5 kills, 3 block assists) and Lexi Eickhoff (3 block assists) helped limit Doane's front row.

• Back-Row Defense: Libero Kate Tollinger led the team with 10 digs, with Brianna Even and Jenna Schweitzeradding 5 and 3 digs, respectively.

• Setting Breakdown: Brianna Even led the distribution with 17 assists, while Maycee Williams contributed 12 assists.

• Where the Game Was Decided: Mount Marty struggled with unforced attack errors, finishing with 30 errors on the night (.019 team hitting percentage). Doane capitalised in Set 2 with a .303 clip and relied on Natalie Wood (8 kills) and Kate Roseland (5 kills, 4 blocks) to close out tight frames late.
