Sioux Center, IA - Cross Country teams travel to Dordt for first event of their 2020 season.

In the women's 5k race, the Lancers were paced by Kelsey Folchert, coming in 72nd place overall with a time of 21:43.63. Following her for the navy and gold was Tayler Carlson, with a time of 21:53.90 and Jaclyn Laprath coming in at 23:17.75. Overall, the Lancers came in 9th in a stacked field.

On the men's side, running an 8k, Brian Santiago gave a great effort, finishing 22nd overall with a time of 26:37.72. Liam Vidas and Cristobal Gonzales also finished inside the top 100 for the Lancers, who went on to finish 8th in the team standings.

Both teams will be back in action on September 12th in Madison, South Dakota.
