Shotgun Sports: Mount Marty Competes At Greater Midwest Super Shoot

Mount Marty's Shotgun Team recently competed in a regional competition held in Grand Island, Nebraska, where six shooters represented the team across multiple disciplines. The competition featured events in American Skeet, Sporting Clays, American Trap, and Super Sporting Clays. Each team member participated in one or more of these categories, demonstrating their dedication and skill.

The competitors and their results were as follows:

Sporting Clays

  • Annika Johnson (Collegiate): Scored a 64
  • Tristen Petrik (Collegiate): Scored a 61

American Skeet

  • Luke Anderson (Collegiate): Round-by-round scores of 19, 18, 17, and 14, for a total score of 68
  • Ryan Dobbs (Collegiate): Round-by-round scores of 16, 19, 14, and 16, for a total score of 65
  • Xavier Gabel (Collegiate): Round-by-round scores of 18, 16, 16, and 16, for a total score of 66
  • Annika Johnson (Collegiate): Round-by-round scores of 17, 21, 21, and 18, for a total score of 77
  • Tristen Petrik (Collegiate): Round-by-round scores of 18, 16, 15, and 15, for a total score of 64

Super Sporting

American Trap

  • Luke Anderson (Collegiate): Round-by-round scores of 20, 18, 21, and 19, for a total score of 78
  • Ryan Dobbs (Collegiate): Round-by-round scores of 18, 16, 17, and 19, for a total score of 70
  • Xavier Gabel (Collegiate): Round-by-round scores of 16, 17, 22, and 21, for a total score of 76
  • Annika Johnson (Collegiate): Round-by-round scores of 15, 22, 22, and 21, for a total score of 80
  • Tristen Petrik (Collegiate): Round-by-round scores of 21, 21, 24, and 21, for a total score of 87
  • Andrea Sucha (Collegiate): Round-by-round scores of 16, 14, 10, and 21, for a total score of 61

Each team member performed admirably across the different disciplines, with some showcasing their abilities in multiple categories. Their hard work and commitment were evident as they competed against other collegiate teams in this challenging regional event.
