Rylee Schneider Appointed as Dance Coach at Mount Marty University

Yankton, SD – July 9, 2024 – Mount Marty University is thrilled to announce the appointment of Rylee Schneider as the new Dance Coach. With a rich background in dance and cheerleading, Rylee brings a wealth of experience and passion to this new role. Having danced competitively in various styles from 2005 to 2017 at studios in Lincoln, NE, and cheered for the University of Nebraska at Kearney and the USD COED Cheer Team, her journey in performance and leadership has been marked by dedication and excellence. Her education includes general education courses from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and current studies in communications and nonprofit studies at the University of South Dakota, where she is set to graduate in December 2024.

Rylee's professional experience includes her role as the USD Mascot Coordinator from 2022 to present, where she organized events and appearances within the USD and Vermillion community, managed social media to celebrate campus activities, and recruited new members for the spirit teams. Additionally, she served as a Central Region Staffer for the National Cheerleaders Association from 2021 to 2023, developing curriculums to help teams meet their goals and collaborating with staff to build on camp curriculums. Her leadership skills have been a significant asset in these roles, showcasing her ability to inspire and guide teams to success.

As the new Dance Coach at Mount Marty University, Rylee looks forward to utilizing her extensive experience in recruiting and dance to build a strong and vibrant dance program.
