Lancers Earn Top Collegiate Finishes at NFAA Indoor Nationals
The Mount Marty University Archery Team put on another strong showing at the NFAA Indoor Nationals, securing multiple top collegiate finishes against elite competition.
Leading the way, Savannah Chouinard once again proved her dominance in the Barebow Recurve Female division, finishing 1st in collegiate rankings and 16th overall with a score of 401 6X.
In the Compound Female division, Maren Sanders delivered an outstanding performance, placing 5th in collegiate standings and 8th overall with a 599 97X. Chloe Madison followed closely behind, finishing 6th among collegiate archers and 12th overall with an impressive 598 96X. Carlee Ready also had a solid showing, securing 10th in the collegiate rankings with a 585 55X. Sawyer Goeden competed hard in a deep field, placing 36th overall with a 469 17X.
For the Recurve Female archers, Hailee Pringle claimed 2nd place in collegiate rankings, finishing 16th overall with a 460 14X. Catalina Herrera also had a strong performance, earning 3rd in collegiate standings and 18th overall with a 450 16X.
On the men's side, Teagan Herold showcased his skills in the Compound Male division, scoring a perfect 600 111X to place 2nd in collegiate rankings and 20th overall. Tim Westphal earned another 1st-place collegiate finish in the Recurve Male division, placing 14th overall with a 536 20X.
In the Bowhunter Male category, Lucas Hayes had a strong showing, finishing 2nd in collegiate rankings and 11th overall with a 596 82X.
With multiple 1st-place collegiate finishes and top-10 placements, the Lancers continue to prove themselves on the national stage. They'll look to build on this momentum in their upcoming competitions!
