The Lancers Archery team recently competed in the USA Archery Collegiate Target Nationals. They started the weekend off with Individual Qualifications to decide seating for Eliminations. Based on scores, 3 All-Americans were crowned: Danielle Pollard, Lalit Jain, and Micheal Plummer. Day 2 was tricky with lightning delays in the middle of elimination matches. However the team persisted and had 3 podium finishes: Micheal Plummer 1st Male Recurve, Danielle Pollard 3rd Female Fixed Pins, and Zoe Woods 3rd Female Compound. They then had Team Rounds under the lights where we unfortunately did not podium but shot good scores in some tough matches. The last day was mixed teams where we once again did not podium but were able to secure some points for the team. With everything added up, the team ended up 5th overall, a ranking higher than last year. It was a successful weekend that ended with loads of momentum for next season.
