WAYNE, Neb. -- Mount Marty's track and field teams started their outdoor season today at the WSC Wildcat Classic. This meet consisted of DI, DII, and NAIA schools. The Lancers had 32 performances place in the Top 8 at the meet, with six of them taking first place. 

Men's Team
The men's team placed 12 performances in the Top 8 at the Wildcat Classic. Jonathan Fuselier won the 110m hurdles (14.76), and took 8th place in the 100m dash (11.07). Marcus Jnofinn ran the 200m dash in 22.05 seconds to take first place. Donovan Breckenridge placed 2nd in the 400m dash (50.48) and ran in the 4x100 relay that took third place.

Women's Team
The women's team had 20 performances place in the Top 8 at the meet, five of them taking first place. Elianna Clark won both the 100m dash (12.38), and the 200m dash (25.60). Gracie Rippen hit a height of 3.10m to win the pole vault. The 4x100 relay made up of Isabelle Hardmeyer, Aniya Teppo, Alexis Even, and Zelie Sorensen won the event with a time of 50.19. The Lancers had five people place in the top seven in the 100m dash.
