Wichita, KS -- The Track & Field teams traveled to Kansas to compete in the Friends Invitational over the weekend. Mount Marty was able to compete against 34 other teams and get 24 performances in the Top 8. There were two first place finishes on the Men's team.

Men's Results
The Men's team had two first place finishes, and a total of 10 Top 8 finishes throughout the weekend. The other first-place finish came from Seth Wiebelhaus, who won the Decathlon with 6,541 points.

Women's Results 
The Women's team had 14 performances place in the Top 8, with two of them taking second place. Ashinee George took second in the Heptathlon after scoring 3,799 points. The 4x400 relay team was ran by Tianna Bumbaca-Kuehl, Elianna Clark, Abrielle Nelson, and Calli Davis took second place with a time of 4:01.45
